My soapmaking journey began at the kitchen table, born from a mother’s hope to soothe her own and her family’s eczema-prone skin. During the pandemic, when shelves were empty and I couldn’t find the gentle soap we usually used, I decided to make my own. I wanted something kind to our sensitive skin. So I studied the ingredients, learned the methods, and tested every bar on myself and my son.

What began as a moment of necessity soon became a form of healing. Over time, I realised that my passion for creating comfort extended beyond skincare. I wanted to offer guidance and emotional nourishment through writing, tarot consultations, metaphysical healing, and life coaching. So I brought it all together and created Find Your Zen UK, a sanctuary of mindful living, handmade self-care, and soulful guidance.

Then came candles. After the trauma of nearly burning the house down with an expensive designer candle, I stopped using candles. Then my son bought me a candle-making kit for Christmas, and I was hooked. I decided to make my own, cleaner, safer, and every bit as luxurious. What started as a near disaster became a new creative obsession, and today I pour clean, high-quality candles designed to fill your space with calm, not toxins.

From there, my love of scent deepened. I began crafting elixir-strength perfumes; rich, long-lasting blends made with clean, skin-friendly ingredients that deliver designer-level luxury at a fraction of the price. I couldn't justify spending a small fortune on perfume because of a name, a status. Soon after came clean spiritual oils, blended with jojoba, sweet almond, or coconut oil and infused with soulful fragrance to support daily rituals, meditation, and anointing practices.

To honour my roots in soapmaking, I created The Soap Society, a private collection of artisan soaps made with premium ingredients, pure essential oils, and absolutely no nasties. Each bar is hot-processed, slow-crafted in small batches for those who value authenticity, exclusivity, craftsmanship, and ritual purity.

Today, that vision continues through The Soul Soak Experience, a collection of bougie handmade soaps, clean candles, perfumes, spiritual oils, and artisan creations, each designed to turn everyday luxury into a moment of sacred self-care. Every piece is paraben- and phthalate-free, crafted with intention to celebrate the harmony between mindfulness and modern indulgence.

What started as survival has become a sacred calling, a way to pour love, intention, and peace into every bar, every bottle, every candle, and every offering. Each creation is a reflection of that journey: handmade, heartfelt, and designed to nourish both skin and spirit.
