My soapmaking journey began at the kitchen table with a melt and pour soap base, a prayer, and a hope that I could soothe my son's eczema without resorting to harsh chemicals or clinical, joyless formulas. I wanted something gentle enough for our skin but beautiful enough to feel like a ritual, not a compromise.

But that wasn’t enough. The more I learned, the more I realised that many so-called “gentle” options still contained harsh detergents. I was creating soap that looked luxurious, but didn’t always feel right on sensitive skin like ours.

So I went deeper down the rabbit hole. I studied ingredients. I experimented with traditional techniques. I tested every bar on myself and my son. And slowly, Find Your Zen UK evolved into something more refined, a clean, minimalist self-care brand rooted in soul, science, and softness.

Not everyone needs sensitive-skin soap, and I get that. That’s why I still make small-batch melt and pour bars for those who just want a big, bougie lather and a good clean.

For my sensitive-skin babes, I’ve created a nourishing hot process range with no SLS and no drama. Two collections. One standard: handmade, thoughtful, luxury soap.

I spent nearly four years refining my craft, studying traditional soapmaking techniques, experimenting with natural ingredients, and obsessing over every bar’s feel, function, and fragrance. What began as survival turned into a sacred calling. A return to artistry, alchemy, and ancestral care.

I created Find Your Zen UK out of necessity, but I stayed with it out of devotion, to healing, to craftsmanship, to pleasure. Because we all deserve skincare that nourishes. That uplifts. That feels like self-respect in every lathered moment.
